In 2003 I started being inspired by places abroad. Once again my stripe motif
emerges from the tilled soil of the winelands. I am gradually incorporating slight
changes in my approach to my work with the use of diagonals, (though I did use
them in Natural History II, but with a different effect) which creates more of a
rhythm through the painting.
