This image depicts the emptiness of the Tobacco Dock shopping complex that never took off. I was inspired by the reflection of light coming through the skylight onto the empty floor juxtaposed with the reflections of the railings as I looked through the glass shop window into the empty space. I like the idea of the fact that the overlapping colours play with the picture plane.
