Acrylic on canvas
Size: 80×120cms
This painting was inspired by the view through the railings at Cotton’s Atrium by the River Thames. Jane often incorporate stripes into her work. This time her love of stripes takes the form of railings, which are painted in such a way that they become almost shadows over the objects behind them, like the half way stage when taking a photograph the depth of field can be adjusted to show or hide the bars in the foreground.
